Hamburg, Germany – Just in time for Christmas Germany’s Meyer Werft placed a repeat order for two ship sets made up of 4x MaK 9 M 43 C marine engines to power its fifth and sixth newbuildings for AIDA Cruises. The repeat order adds another pearl to a string of cruise business successes which started in March 2005 with the initial contract for MaK engines for AIDA Cruises’ new “Sphinx” design.
