Pon Power delivers combined heat and power installations that are tailored specifically to the customer's requirements. These installations consist of: a Caterpillar gas engine with a directly coupled generator, a switching and safety panel for parallel or isolated operation, lube oil provision and housing with ventilation. Delivery of installations includes transport, fitting, start up, a course for operating personnel and 12 months warranty.

The Possibilities of Combined Heat and Power Installations

A combined heat and power installation can generate both electricity and heat in an environmentally friendly and efficient manner. Increasing interest in this type of energy generation has given rise to a progression of technical improvements that have helped to develop more economical and cleaner installations. The high level of flexibility of combined heat and power installations means that it is possible for the generated energy to be used for lighting, heating and cooling. Greenhouse horticulturists also have the option of extracting CO₂ from the waste gas and to use this as fertilizer.
