Early August Pon Power Oil & Gas received an order for the delivery of a 1200EkW containerized emergency diesel generator package for the ICP-R process platform of ONGC in India.
Our customer, the Afcons – Gunanusa Joint Venture, based in India, outsourced the engineering scope involved to Aker Solutions – Malaysia, making this an international orientated project.  The package consists of a Caterpillar 3512B with a custom generator. It will be placed in a purpose built container suitable for hazardous areas, Class 1, Div.2  installation. The container is designed to operate with overpressure, and as a consequence a safe area is created in the container itself.
