The Babbage Topside sail away from the SLP Tyneside Facility on route to the Babbage Field, located in the North Sea UK Block 48/2, turned out to be a success.

Achieving the impossible…
The ‘Babbage project’ includes the delivery of the main generation system by Pon Power Oil & Gas. This delivery consists of 4 Capstone Microturbines type C65, which were packaged in a shared enclosure. It was a nerve-racking sprint to ‘achieve the impossible’, but the mile-stone has been reached and SLP-UK realized shipment on September 17, 2009.
