Authorized Marine Dealers
Caterpillar has a worldwide dealer network. An official dealership exists in each country. Pon Power is responsible for supplying engines and generator sets, and, providing customer service to end users in the Netherlands. Authorised Marine Dealers (AMD's) work together with Pon Power to provide optimal service for shipping clients.
In addition to the Pon Power service locations distributed across the Netherlands, we are also affiliated with six Authorised Marine Dealers in the Netherlands. These businesses are distributed across the country at strategic locations for shipping clients. All AMD's supply Cat products including propulsion engines, diesel generator sets, and original Cat spare parts. Service and maintenance of engines are performed by technicians at the relevant AMD.
Advantages
Many shipping clients want not only a supplier of engines and services, but also a supplier who can provide supplementary services. These include: shipbuilding, specific technical expertise, use of a dock, and the installation of engines. This is exactly the kind of resources that are available at the AMD's, where each dealer has a different specialty. Pon Power works closely together with its AMD's to provide services for the shipping industry.
