Damen has decided that the ASD2411 will be their first ship to be equipped with a standard Cat fuel consumption meter. The meter is part of the Caterpillar MAPD series, and will be delivered in a 3 inch diameter with a black background and white indicator. The data will be encrypted and drawn directly from the Electronic Control Module (ECM) over a data line. This instrument is suitable for all electronic Cat engines.
