Pon Power has two testing benches available for testing all brands of diesel and gas engines and generator sets that are on the market.
- A small testing bench with 900 kW mechanical power
- A testing bench with 2,100 kW mechanical power
- A large testing bench with 3,000 kW mechanical power
Both testing benches are also equipped with an electrical power of 2,000 kVa and are intended for carrying out power and life-span tests, like measuring fuel consumption (in compliance with the applicable IMO-requirements), heat emission, turbo supercharging pressure and drainage from the engine's cooling system at a single predetermined pressure. Practically all operating conditions can be simulated so that the engine can be tested against all international standards for combustion engines. Customers can watch the test runs from a sound-proof room if they wish.
