Pon Power Scandinavia delivers 4 genset to build and repair Walney Offshore Windfarm 15 km of Englands westcoast.

The windfarm will consist of 102 windmills of each 3,6 MW in an area of 73 M2. The farm is constructed in two fases - Walney I and Walney II.

For Walney I Pon Power delivers a GEP 33-2 genset for construction and one GEP 165-2 genset for emergency power. We deliver the same set for Walney II.

The first fase will begin in 2010 and the second fase will end in 2012. Then all 102 windmills will produce 367MW environmentally friendly energy for the British consumers.
