A service agreement is a flexible agreement system that varies with the various customers’ engine types, access to tools and skills of their own technicians. Agreements are tailored to suit both the customer and Pon Power, and are customised to meet customers' specific applications and requirements. The main purpose of a service agreement is to free up the customers’ time from maintenance work and repair so that they can concentrate on their core business. Prioritised assistance and discounted prices on parts and service are important elements in such a service agreement.
In collaboration with the customer, Pon Power ensures planned maintenance to ensure reliable operation of its engines. The agreements range from preventive maintenance at agreed intervals, based on the engine’s operating hours, regular inspection of vital systems and components, to turnkey agreements for maintenance and repair, in which everything is covered by a fixed price. There are also special programmes that suit units with low operating hours, such as emergency generators and fire pumps. These service programmes are based on fixed time intervals instead of the unit’s operating hours.
One of Pon Power’s most important areas of focus in the future will be the development of service agreements. We often receive positive feedback from our customers who have selected to enter into such an agreement.
