Pon Power AS in Norway was founded 1902, when Pay & Brinck began its agency. The company became the main dealer of CAT products in Norway as early as 1926. In 1987, the engine division was demerged into an independent company, Pay & Brinck Motor AS. Following Caterpillar’s acquisition of the German company, MaK GmbH & Co, the company began as agents for MaK products on 1. January 2000.
Our company has been known in Denmark for many decades as Enmaco Motorer A/S. For many years, the fishing industry was its dominating customer, but operations have now expanded to shipping and industry. When Caterpillar bought out the German company MaK GmbH & Co. in 1999, the Danish MaK branch in Hvidovre, not far from Copenhagen, was added to the company, giving it also the MaK product agency.
