Pon Holdings

Pon Holding is a family-owned Dutch group founded in 1898. Today, they count almost 10,000 employees in 12 different countries. 

Some milestones in Pon Holdings B.V.’s history:

1898:      The company is established

1900:      Import of Opel bicycles
1930:      Exclusive importer of Opel
1947:      Official VW importer
1949:      Porsche importer and Michelin tyre importer
1950:      100 dealers established
1960:      Establishment of financial/insurance company
1974/91: Audi/Seat/Skoda importer
1980:      MAN importer
1990:      Acquired importer of Linde fork lift trucks
1995:      VW and Audi importer in Poland
1996/97: Pon North America established
1998:      Reorganisation of the company into 8 divisions
2003:      Acquisition of the Dutch group Geveke nv, which holds dealership rights for Caterpillar in northern Europe.


Pon Power is a part of an international division that is called Pon Equipment & Power Systems (PEPS). The division is a centre of excellence consisting of eight companies in Norway, Denmark, Sweden and the Netherlands.

Pon Holdings has a long-term strategy and puts its customers and business partners at the centre of attention. This strategy will, of course, be continued by Pon Power in Scandinavia.
