The Transverse Thruster is fitted with robust gearwheels, bearings and ship-adjusted blades. There are two configurations, the heavy version, suitable for DP (Dynamic Positioning) under full continuous use, and the lighter support version, suitable for manoeuvring in a harbour, for instance.
The Azimuth is a high-quality steerable thruster with a custom-controllable or fixed-pitch propeller. One unique quality of this Azimuth Thruster is a compact and integrated upper gearbox, which means installation and maintenance are considerably easier and you can use the available space more efficiently.
