PON POWER INTRODUCES CAT® C32B (TRIPLE TURBO) MARINE ENGINE

Papendrecht, January 21, 2021. Through its Dutch dealer Pon Power, Caterpillar Marine has announced the release of the new Cat® C32B Triple Turbo high-performance marine engine. This new engine, that builds on the proven robust and industry leading C32 platform, offers both potency and comfort. With its upgraded core engine, sequential turbo charging and increased cooling capability, the C32B 3-Turbo is ideal for a wide range of applications, from yachting to commercial and governmental. The Cat C32B Triple Turbo engine will be available to order in late 2021.

The new C32B presents the most sustainable, high-end and high-performance marine energy solution available today. It is available in three power output ranges. Each has a better power-density ratio than the previous model, with a power increase of up to 25%. All this whilst maintaining the same footprint, enabling a quick and hassle free refit of this high-tech engine. Due to the advanced MEUI-C fuel system and updated ADEM6 Engine Control Module the C32B offers a significant reduction of vibration and noise levels compared to the previous models. Its factory certified IMO III and EPA Tier 3(recreational) solution makes the power unit future-ready, while the IMO II / IMO III switchability adds to its versatility. The combination of a fuel-efficiency-optimized engine and a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) after treatment system is a solution that not only reduces NOx emissions, but also lowers owning and operating costs.
